Re-examining the Social Determinants of Health

Digital Health InfoCast

The social determinants of health are the social and economic factors that have an influence on a person's health. Inequities occur when a person experiences poorer outcomes and quality of care based on who they are, where they live or what they have. But how do we integrate this data into digital health systems?

We're joined by Infoway's Waldo Beauséjour, Marcy Antonio (PhD Candidate at the University of Victoria) and Dr. Annalijn Conklin (Assistant Professor, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of British Columbia).
