A beginner is gearing up

Coach Rob is knowledgeable and makes all the aspects of riding accessible for me as a beginner. I came to this podcast as a commuter/leisure cyclist. Because of this podcast, I’m gearing up for my first charity ride and look forward to working towards group riding. Perhaps I’ll even enter an event someday...the road is wide open now with Rob’s expert tips and information!

5 stars but some caveats

Robs advice and knowledge are top notch. He explains complicated subjects to the layman in a way we can understand.
Clearly his background as a chiropractor and in science lends well to his training advice. Further, his general cycling / racing tactics are valuable. So the podcast gets 5 stars.
Having said that - a few caveats:
- Rob can drone on a bit- he could probably cover his topics in 25% less time if he stuck to the point
- Ditch the coffee sipping and throat clearing Rob- it’s distracting

I mention these to improve the podcast. I give the show 5 stars because it’s some of the best info on the cycling podcast circuit- in summary I’d recommend the podcast, and these minor annoyances are tolerable if you want to get what is otherwise top notch content.
Hope that helps Rob—I really like the show - sipping and all!

Education Grade and Pracitcal advice--A++

Solid Solid advice on a week to week basis.
As a self-coached athlete, Rob is making me rethink about hiring a coach....He just knows what works.
