Better than the full podcast?
I've been listening to the DnD podcast since episode 1 and I've really enjoyed it.
This new version is "abridged" meaning that the original 60+ minute episodes are trimmed down to about 15.
Wow. What a great way to "catch up" to the main podcast or to revisit old favourite moments.
I might even say that I like this version better; personally, I'm not a big fan of the drawn-out dice rolling combat segments which are cut way down in the abridged version.
The production value is excellent. The host has recorded brief summaries of content that is cut in the abridged version, so that the listener is never confused by what transpired between cuts.
My only suggestion is that you give the show a solid chance. The cast really gets comfortable as time goes on, so the show improves with as they become more experienced.
