Raising your Earning Potential with Miriam Schulman

Raising your Earning Potential with Miriam Schulman

Today’s podcast is a recording from my A-Players session with a guest coach, Miriam Schulman, who’s an artist, business coach, mom AND podcast host.

Miriam shares how she transitioned from a finance background to doing what she loves – art – and how she made (more) money doing it!

We talk about how to find the right price to market your products/services at, and how you can break the “limits” you place on YOUR OWN earning potential!

Podcast quote: “Be careful of the stories we tell ourselves. Our brains perceive them as reasons (why it can’t work).“ – Miriam Schulman.

    How I got Here

    How I got Here

Grab a cup of tea (or coffee), today’s talk is going CHOCK FULL of fun personal anecdotes. Let me take you back to my childhood, where I FIRST discovered my penchant for leading and entrepreneurship…it all started with my mom offering to pay me for my chores!

My mom started me on the path to making my own money, and I’ve passed on the same principles to my own children, to teach them the importance of accountability.

I was only 9 years old when I knew I wanted to start making more money for myself. Maybe this episode will teach you how to recognize the signs of a budding entrepreneur in YOUR family, too!

Episode Quote: “I often found problems people had, and then I would invent a solution, and make money from that.” – Lianne Kim

Tag me on Instagram (@mamasandco) or Facebook (www.facebook.com/mamasandco) and tell me YOUR “How I got here” story. Would LOVE to hear it!!

    Fave Biz Books Part 3

    Fave Biz Books Part 3

This episode marks the third annual episode of the best business books I’ve come across!

Every summer, I like to create a list of my favourite books to give you an idea of what I’ve been reading this year. Lots of mamapreneurs have a little bit more downtime around now, so it’s the perfect time to crack open a book. Even better if it’ll help your business!

I realized, as I was preparing to record this show, this is the first time I could include myself on a list like this! Wow! I’m so glad you’re here to celebrate this win with me.

And to celebrate, I’m giving you a discount on my own book, Building A Joyful Business! Click on the link below and use promo code BIZBOOK for 20% off. Tag me on Insta: @liannekimcoach!

    Happy reading!

    CEO Time

    CEO Time

Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about how to structure my days, weeks, months, and even years in a way that benefits my business the most.

One of the hardest lessons to learn was how to step away for a moment and give myself some space!

If you’ve been listening to the podcast for a while, you’ve heard me talk about CEO time before. Today, I want to spend some more time focusing on why it’s important, and how to use it.

Overall, if you take anything away from today’s episode, it’s this: schedule time for yourself! Far from taking time away from your business, you’ll find that spending this time away from the day-to-day nitty gritty of the business gets you closer to your goals than ever.
