    Shirley Weir(Episode 10)

In this episode, Louise sits down with Shirley Weir to discuss one of the most important topics in women’s health….Menopause. Through this informative interview, you may hear some things that are really surprising! Shirley launched MenopauseChicks.com in 2012 after experiencing things like brain fog, sleep issues, depression--and years of searching "Dr. Google" at 3 a.m. for information on perimenopause & menopause where she became confused and frustrated by all the conflicting information. Her website MenopauseChicks.com was recently selected by ShareCare.com (a Dr. Oz site) as one of the Top 10 Social HealthMakers and has been recognized two years in a row by Healthline as one of the top sites on the topic. Shirley is the author of "Cracking Open the Perimenopause Conversation with your Doctor."

Music to my ears

A huge shout out to Louise Green for launching this podcast! I just turned 50 and I’m finally doing the daunting work of shedding the shame from decades of diet related trauma. It’s a journey that is often painful, lonely and confusing. We need your valuable insight and those of your guests! I’m eagerly awaiting each future episode. Cheers from a fellow Canadian 😊

Outstanding.

This podcast is exactly what I needed. The guests and Louise are willing to talk about the tough topics and do it in a way that’s thoughtful and inspiring. As a plus size womxn, this is the type of insight I only wish I had sooner. It’s a must listen.
