Excellent episode!!! So excited to hear Armine’s and Jim’s data driven perspectives on current economic issues. They mirror my thoughts on many economic challenges facing Canadians today. Fascinating to hear economists talk about psychological and behavioural attitudes of Canadians vs. hard data indicating that the Canadian standard of living is still one of the best in the world. Well done and a must listen for all!

Good interview with the minister of everything except for the end when Dominic became a little whiney about the Leader of the Official Opposition. Look, this Canadian and I’ll assume many others are sick of the current PM and his party. Those guys need a hard timeout to reassess the reason why they want to govern. Because right now they seem to want to stay in power for their own gratification and not for the country.

If David has to do ads for Telus, perhaps telling us how they’ve “lowered fees” and made great sacrifice isn’t the way to go. This company got all it’s infrastructure from AGT, has been charging the highest fees for cellular in the world and is showing no signs of not trying to monopolize its position. Interview the competition commissioner… PLEASE!!!
