My sidekicks

I’ve been listening to Josh and Ryan for many years now. I went to see them on a tour stop in Toronto. They have added value to my life by being a quiet voice in the back of my head when it comes to consuming or purging. Do I need it? Will it add value to my life? Does it bring me joy? Could I replace it for under $20 if I really needed it again? I have cleared my debt and then fallen back in to debt. Old habits die hard but I have a strong compass leading me back because of Ryan and Josh. I just know that without The Minimalist I wouldn’t have that pause that I now have where I really evaluate the situation. I am forever grateful to them and so appreciate that they are along side me on the ride.

A part of my mindfulness practice

I have been following the minimalists for a few years now. I haven't listened to the podcast every week since I started graduate school but whenever I feel like I want to listen to something that is funny and helpful for my daily life I turn on an episode. I have shared the podcast with my sister and their documentary with my mom and these have added value to their lives. The Minimalists help to introduce people into minimalism through a personal lens. Their approach distinguishes opinions from facts and focuses on what matters to an individual person. Listening to the podcast often helps me tune in to what I care about and my values.
