What, what?! Today marks 100 episodes of The Transforming Anxiety Podcast!
I could say cliche things like, "I can't believe it," or, "I wasn't envisioning the 100th episode when I started the podcast" buuuuut I CAN believe it and I have totally been envisioning hundreds of episodes of the podcast.
Because: transforming anxiety is not a quick endeavor.
It's a lifestyle.
We were never going to do a handful of shows and then call it quits.
Which is why, to celebrate the 100th episode, I have some FUN things to share with you. Like:

99. It's Ok to Not Be Ok
We'll get back to our regular programming next week, but for today...well, today I thought it was important to create some space.
I know I need some space.
Space to feel. To process. To try and make sense of all that's happened...and still happening.
There's a LOT going on...
...and there's been a LOT going on for so, so long.
Our hearts are tired. Our minds are weary. Our souls are wrung out.
So, for the podcast this week, I'm modeling what I'm teaching. It's a short episode, straight from my exhausted heart to yours.
It's ok to not be ok. And that is all I want to share this week.
98. Emotions & Moods & Personalities
Happy New Year! To kick off 2021, we're going to talk about one of my favorite things: feelings. 🙃 Specifially: emotions and moods and personalities...
See, I've come to a very UNscientific belief re: our feelings. I think ~80% of our day-to-day emotions come from what's right in front of us: how we're thinking, what we're telling ourselves about our life, the meaning we're placing on the circumstances in front of us.
But...what about that other ~20%? Where do those feelings come from?
That's what I want to explore today. What are emotions? Moods? Where do our personalities come from?
It's my hope that an understanding of these concepts can help us from becoming an Eeyore, believing that that's "just how I am" and instead encourage us to get curious about whether we're in an emotion, mood state, or personality trait...and what that means for moving forward the way we want.
97. Intentions & Goals
It's that tiiiiiiime. And, as a coach, I'd be remiss if I *didn't* do something around goal-setting at the end of the year.
So, this week on The Transforming Anxiety Podcast, let's do it - this episode, we're going to focus on intentions and goals.
Throughout the year, there are some natural reset points. Your birthday. The changing seasons. Special anniversaries. Back-to-school season.
And the biggie...January 1st.
I want to explore the difference between intentions and goals (because it's pretty important) and I want to help you take a look at 2021 and that shiny, new, fresh start in a way that feels supportive and nourishing...not chock-full of productivity, more to-do's, and a self-deprecating list of "things I haven't done yet but feel like I should have."
Join me for this week's episode and let's explore your approach to resolutions.
96. There is No Going Back
Today, we're going to do a little science + coaching. You ready?
First, the science: we live in a universe that is constantly expanding. Ever since the Big Bang, the galaxies in the universe have been moving away from each other. The universe is SO vast that it may as well be infinite...meaning the universe is on a never-ending path of expansion.
Why are we talking about this on The Transforming Anxiety Podcast?
Now, the coaching: I love this as a metaphor for us teeny tiny human beings. That we, too, are constantly expanding. That we are so vast as to be infinite...meaning that we, too, are on a never-ending path of expansion.
There's a lot of talk, as the new year approaches + promising vaccine news hits the headlines, about "going back" to the way things were. A pre-pandemic world. Our old normal.
I want to offer another idea: that there is no going back.
We are ever-expanding. We are growing, changing, and opening...constantly. Individually and collectively.
Our default is to hold on, to hope for what's familiar, to revert to our old patterns and ways of being. But in this week's episode, I invite you to bring into your mind's eye the possibility of your own expansion. The TRUTH of it.
And let's start practicing loosening our grip on "going back." And deliberately opening our aperture to consider our expansion...
95. Discomfort & Growth
We've all just lived through a *highly* uncomfortable time. Still are, in fact. 2020 proved to be quite the crash course in discomfort...
And since we don't know what we don't know about 2021, I thought now would be a good time to talk about discomfort and growth.
What do we DO with all of this discomfort?
Are there different kinds of discomfort?
And how can we support ourselves by experimenting in the safe playgrounds of our lives, so that when things get intense, we're ready?
Join me this week on podcast to learn about discomfort and growth...and how to take care of yourself in the face of it all.
