Hello there! Welcome to Professor Jacob’s 183rd lesson on Pokémon biology. Today’s lesson is on Marill: the Aqua Mouse Pokémon. This little cutie is able to swim effectively in strong currents due to its water-resistant fur and oil-filled tail, which acts as a buoy to keep it afloat. Ampharos got its name from the incredibly bright light that emits from its tail. It gets so bright that you can apparently see Ampharos’ light from space! Imagine being crazy enough to test that out. This cute electric type isn’t quite as fluffy as its pre-evolution. Storing too much electricity has resulted in Flaaffy losing most of the wool on its body.
