A classic, highly recommendable!

Mike Duncans "The history of Rome" has become a true classic of history podcasts - if you want to know about roman history, don't look any further. This podcast carries narrative history, something which might be called "great man theory" - and that is just what is needed in a history podcast, good stories to listen to, with a focus on the political actors. So, great stuff, highly recommendable, and, among podcasters, also a true legend!

Incredible

The History of Rome podcast is a phenomenal achievement. Whether you are already knowledgable about Roman history or a novice in this area, I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. I discovered it at about episode 13 and was hooked from the outset. By now, I'm sure I have listened to almost all episodes multiple times and some of them quite a few times.
