We present our first 30 Year retrospective of this season and take a look back at the all-time year of 1994. 2004 was not the greatest year in film history, and as a result we figured we would look back to one of the best years in film history. 

In this episode we discuss classic comedies like "Dumb and Dumber," and "Ace Ventura," classic action like "Speed" and "True Lies," animated classics like "Lion King" and even some all-time dramas such as "Quiz Show." 1994 was so good that we wanted to change our format just to talk about it.

We don't think it is an understatement to say that this film changed the course of history for one of film's largest franchises. In 2004's "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," we get to see our main characters grow, the depth of story leave the surface level and get deeper, and our addiction to the wizarding world increase. After 20 years it still gets better and better.

We have completed our rewatch of the films of 2003 and are now looking back to the films of 2004 and beyond.  Our first watch is one of Steve's all-time favorite sports movies, and a film that knows exactly what it was supposed to be in 2004's "Miracle."
