At the outer edges of space, where Union is but a whisper, humanity scrapes together a living amongst the stars. This is the story of four Lancers, talented pilots of mechanized chassis from all corners of the known universe, thrown together by circumstance and destiny...and credits. Follow Matcha, Moxie, Roadkill, and Silver led by Reed, your game master, through the Lancer system, a mud n’ laser style anime mecha RPG. I hope they brought some printers with them, because this is Bring Your Own Mech: a biweekly actual play Lancer podcast, and batteries are not included!

The end of this disastrous mission could come no sooner, as the gang faces off against failing infrastructure, hostile working conditions, and whatever the hell Vim is going to do to Pilar after this is over. Matcha applies drive to pile. Moxie slaps a hoe. Pilar shows them the ropes. Scarlett gets glamorous and polyamorous.

what if Firefly was queer Mecha? an awesome Lancer Actual Play podcast
I recently started playing the Lancer TTRPG and found this awesome Actual Play podcast. Great production, fantastic voices and story. The characters are fabulous and I would take a bullet coffee for Vim. The GM really knows their lore though they have another Lancer podcast that’s more lore-heavy (and I’ll also review some day). This is more episodic and space Western-like. On the frontiers of Union space. They use TOTM for the battles which, for such a tactical game, works thanks to the excellent GMing. There may be better way to learn the system but there can’t be many better ways to see how much fun Lancer can be.
Highly recommended!
