Episode #031 - Ryan Park AKA Men’s Mental Health Coach

Episode #031 - Ryan Park AKA Men’s Mental Health Coach

Meet our guest for this episode of CamTalks, Ryan Park, also known as the Men's Mental Health Coach. Ryan's journey into mental health advocacy began in 2019, when a close friend, who seemed to have it all, tragically took his own life. This devastating event ignited a fire within Ryan to delve deep into the science of male mental health. He uncovered extensive research on the impacts of hormones, lifestyle and goal setting on men's mental wellbeing, which is often overlooked or misunderstood.

In 2020, Ryan began coaching men using simple, science-based strategies that improved their mental health. The outcomes were promising, with many men overcoming feelings of despair and regaining a sense of control over their lives. His coaching practice grew, and he distilled the knowledge from over 900 sources and coaching sessions into a practical, evidence-based framework for men's health and happiness.

In 2022, Ryan took the stage at TEDxEnniskillen to share his findings. Despite initial feelings of impostor syndrome, his talk was well-received and led to numerous invitations to speak at other events. To this day, Ryan delivers talks and workshops to industry leaders, charities, and NHS Trusts, always striving to be inclusive and engaging, particularly for men.

However, Ryan's pride and joy is his Future Self Programme. This unique 90-day programme for men combines 1:1 coaching, group accountability, and science-based workshops to equip men with the tools they need to improve their mental health and achieve their life goals.

Ryan is passionate about demystifying male mental health and showing that the solutions are often simpler than they seem. So, if you're looking for a speaker to captivate your audience with science, stories, and strategies, or a coach who empathizes with the male experience and supports success, Ryan's your man.
