    Priscilla Johnson

    Join us as we delve into the disturbing and unsolved case of Priscilla Johnson, a 32-year-old woman whose life was brutally cut short after a New Year’s Eve celebration in 2002. Priscilla spent the evening with friends and was dropped off at home in good spirits. A week later, her family found her house in disarray, with bloodstains on the floor, walls, and mattress, but no sign of Priscilla. Months later, a man walking his dog discovered a human skull in a remote area. Forensic analysis confirmed it was Priscilla’s, but the rest of her remains were never found. To this day, no one knows who took Priscilla’s life or why. Investigators and her family continue to search for the truth behind this chilling and heartbreaking crime.

    Zach Porter

    In the summer of 2013, 25-year-old Zachary Porter sold his BMW for a motorcycle and cash via Craigslist. Weeks later, the buyer wanted to repurchase the bike. On July 23, Zach drove to meet the buyer, who was supposed to give him a ride back to McMinnville, Oregon. He texted his father that he arrived safely and later told a friend the sale was complete. Hours passed with no word from Zach, and his family reported him missing. To this day, Zachary Porter remains missing, and his case has gone cold.

    Bardstown Part II

    On July 3, 2015, Crystal Rogers and Brooks Houck visited his family's farm before returning home. The next morning, Crystal was gone. Brooks claimed he last saw her the night before, but he did not report her missing. On July 5, Crystal's mother, Sherry Ballard, reported her disappearance. That same day, Crystal’s father, Tommy Ballard, found her abandoned car with her belongings inside.   Brooks Houck was quickly suspected and questioned by police, but his brother Nick Houck, a Bardstown Police Officer, advised him to end the interview. Despite the evidence, progress stalled until August 2016.   Tragedy struck again when Tommy Ballard was fatally shot while hunting with his grandson. Authorities found no substantial evidence, but Tommy had suspected he was being watched due to his relentless search for Crystal.   Little progress has been made, but the cases remain unsolved, shrouded in mystery and suspicion.

    Shonda Townsend

    On July 4, 2010, Shonda Townsend spent a festive day with friends and family in Mineral Wells, Texas. After a cookout, swimming, and fireworks, she left to return to her home in Perrin, Texas, where she lived with her mother and 2-year-old son, Haiden. Shonda never made it home. Her 1997 Toyota Camry was found two days later, ransacked, in a rough part of Mineral Wells. Despite extensive searches and interviews by police and private groups, Shonda remained missing. Over a year later, in October 2011, her remains were discovered. Dental records confirmed her identity, but the mystery of her disappearance and death remains unsolved. This July marks 13 years since Shonda Townsend went missing. Join us as we delve into this tragic case and explore the unanswered questions surrounding her disappearance and death.

    Katelyn Markham

    Today we delve into the tragic and perplexing case of Katelyn Markham. On August 14th, 2011, Katelyn vanished from her home in Fairfield, Ohio, leaving her family and friends in a state of anguish. Their relentless search for answers turned to heartbreak when, on April 7th, 2013, her remains were discovered in a dump yard in Indiana. For years, investigators combed through limited clues, struggling to piece together who could have committed such a heinous act and why. Despite extensive efforts by multiple police departments, the case remained unsolved until February 2023, when a major breakthrough led to the arrest of a suspect. Now, as the suspect faces trial this month, a jury will finally decide their fate. Join us as we explore the detailed twist and turns of this harrowing journey for justice in the case of Katelyn Markham.

    John Doe

    On Valentine’s Day 1975, a couple found the body of a teenage boy hanging from a tree along Highway 23, south of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. The boy, around 16-17 years old, 6 feet tall, and 160 pounds, had brown hair, brown eyes, and slightly protruding front teeth. He wore a maroon and yellow shirt, blue pants, mismatched socks, and no shoes. A bedsheet tied into a slip knot was used, and his death was ruled a suicide. A sealed jar with a suicide note was found at the base of the tree. Despite a national search and over 300 families visiting to identify him, John Doe remains unidentified. One family thought he was their missing son, Charles Wallace Jr., but his mother confirmed he was not. Join us as we explore the haunting mystery of John Doe on Highway 23.
