Eyyy, how you doin’? I’m back this week with Matteo DeBenedetti from the New Jersey band Toy Cars! Following up on his cameo in the Retirement Party episode, I called up Matty D and got the scoop on Jersey pizza and heard a passionate defense in the case of Sheetz vs. Wawa!



We traced his musical history from ska and folk punk, to the anthemic heartland emo on Toy Car’s latest full length “Paint Brain”, as well as regrouping and gearing up for new stuff in 2019. In the second half we finally get the lowdown on Jersey Pizza, talk Taco Bell, discuss pizza and ramen snobbery.
