How Break Your Hypnotic Rhythm & Create Lasting Life Change: Lights Camera Jackson Episode 2 Lights Camera Jackson

    • Gesundheit und Fitness

This episode is called breaking your hypnotic rhythm. It’s all about the desire of change in your life, and how to interrupt the cycle of destructive habits in your daily routine which is a journey we’re on.

This episode is based off of a book that we recently read called “Outwitting the Devil” by Napoleon Hill. In this book, there’s a recurring theme/or concept called Hypnotic Rhythm - which is basically when you engage in a behavior or several behaviors to which you devote no conscious attention.

This is a very common experience as a human, because our brains like to exert least effort. However, this can work for constructive habits and destructive habits. Our brain doesn’t know or care about the difference.

Getting in a rhythm of destructive habits leads to a few things like lack of focus aka just going through the motions without much thought/concern, poor wellness habits which leads to brain fog, increased stress, etc. Leading you into a very destructive rhythm that makes it very hard to get to where you want to go in life.

Getting into a rhythm of positive habits for example will help propel you to where you want to go. Let’s take something as simple as exercise for example - btw habitual exercise is classified as movement as little as one time a week so not anything crazy - leads to mental clarity, decreased stress levels, increased energy levels, better eating habits, even better spending habits, etc. Which can put you in a very constructive rhythm. Making it much easier for you to reach your goals and get to where you want to go.

Bottom line is it’s your choice. A constructive spiral or a destructive one, and nothing changes if nothing changes.

So if you’re feeling stuck and want to make some changes in your life, it’s very important to assess what kind of rhythm you’re in. And do an audit of your daily habits. Then, You’ll want to take some time to make smart goals about how to make small, gradual, and lasting changes every day, every week, and every month, then ACT on that plan. You will gradually begin to see changes in your mindset, your energy levels, your perception of time (i.e. feeling like you have more of it), your mental clarity, your stress levels, your mood, and more.

In this episode we share some of the things we did to break a destructive rhythm. By the way this is a conscious, active, daily, choice. It’s a journey and the work is NEVER done. You don’t get motivated once and stay motivated forever. You don’t feel happy once and feel happy for ever. It’s action everyday.
