Flash Forward is a show about possible (and not so possible) future scenarios. What would the warranty on a sex robot look like? How would diplomacy work if we couldn’t lie? Could there ever be a fecal transplant black market? (Complicated, it wouldn’t, and yes, respectively, in case you’re curious.) Hosted and produced by award winning science journalist Rose Eveleth, each episode combines audio drama and journalism to go deep on potential tomorrows, and uncovers what those futures might really be like. The future is going to be weird, so let's get ready for it together.

One of the best podcasts out there
This podcast doesn’t only make you think about the future - it makes you reevaluate the world we are living in right now.
Plus: the Episode about the Witch that came from Mars will stay with me for as long as I live. It is immensely fascinating to me. Thanks for producing this unique experiment, Rose!

probably my favourite podcast
Flash Forward is an amazing show about technology, society and the future! It’s probably my favourite podcast at the moment and i can’t help but get really excited, whenever i get notified that a new ep just dropped! Rose Eveleth covers the topics in an incredibly interesting and critical way and i appreciate her approach on the topics she covers so much. I love how she also covers a lot of marginalised voices in her discussions and gives them room to discuss the issue from their viewpoint. Also, i just think that Rose is a delightful person and i feel warm and happy listening to her talking, always calms me down when i’m nervous/anxious and cheers me up when i’m sad ! I’ve recommended this podcast to countless friends so far and will keep yelling about this show until everyone i know starts listening lmao
