Sisters Elizabeth and Tresha Haefner, entrepreneurs, artists, cat parents, coffee snobs, and working from home, have a lot in common yet wildly different approaches to working, living, and relaxing.

Coming from poverty in rural California these sisters lived in Los Angeles for a decade, learning about wealth, fame, and making a living, before eventually burning out and making their exodus back into the woods. Now Tresha lives in Costa Rica, where she runs The Poetry Salon online, teaching and creating a community of writers from all over the world. Elizabeth recently moved to North Carolina, and is a marketing professional working in a full service digital marketing company.

Together both of these entrepreneurs seek to support one another, and you, as they strive to find the most elusive things for entrepreneurs besides steady income...downtime, self-care, and peace.

In this podcast they do a weekly check-in. They set some goals for themselves, and strategize ways to grow their work, develop themselves, help others, and most importantly, structure their self-care so they can keep doing everything previously listed.  If you have questions about structured self-care, or stories of self-care techniques that work for you, share them with the sisters on the In My Happy Place Facebook page. Better yet, if you have tales of self-care techniques gone wrong - we want to hear those too!
