JMD is an ambivert artist who continue to strive everyday and has a notable quote for herself "happy being happy" which is means "that a person is truly happy and not just faking being happy."

Isa rin siyang mamamahayag na kabilang sa ilang mga nangungunang makata sa bansa. At dahil sa angking galing ay nagkamit rin siya ng maraming gantimpala sa timpalak-panitik.
