Donald E. Taylor was appointed as the Associate Director for Facility Support effective April 2014. He came to the FHCC after serving in leadership positions in the community, private industry and the U.S. Air Force. He retired in the grade of Colonel in 2006. During his career, he served in various positions across military medicine, where he developed strategy and served as health policy/plans advisor to the Air Force Surgeon General. He has served in various command positions and culminated his 27 year military career as the Vice Commander of the 59th Medical Wing (Wilford Hall Medical Center) in San Antonio, Texas. He also served as the commander of the Air Force Theater Hospital at Balad AB, Iraq in 2006. Among his military awards are the Legion of Merit (3), Bronze Star and Iraqi Campaign Medal. He is on the Board of Directors of the Air Force Association and chairs their national Wounded Airman Program.

Linda Shaffer-Vanaria is a thought leader, executive coach, consultant and speaker working internationally with some of the world’s finest companies.
