    Hi hi hiiii!
On today’s show: Sophia Bush has penned one of the most honest essays we’ve seen from a celebrity in a very long time. Plus, Nicole Kidman becomes the first Australian to win one of Hollywood’s most prestigious awards, Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper just threw one of the bougier weddings we can remember, and it turns out Jennifer Garner is dating a burger guy? And has been for six years? Then, Slow News Week lol.
This week, Zara recommended reading The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah. Mich recommended this NYT tomato soup recipe. To read Lauren Bensted’s piece in the Guardian called ‘I felt myself split into before and after’, head here.

1 hour if bliss 💚

I love the way the show is structured, the stories you tell, the pace and how you offer an hour to escape the everyday life for something sugary and entertaining

Entertaining, funny and smart

This podcast is the perfect place to go to if you want to gossip (but not in a snarky way), laugh (but not superficially) and cry (but not ugly-cry) - all while dissecting societal issues. Love that I learn about Australian pop culture along the way!

The podcast for smart people who love dumb stuff

The title of this review sums it up really well. I absolutely adore this podcast and the amazing hosts! Super entertaining, meaningful discussion and the perfect amount of dumb things that don't really matter but you love to hear more about. The podcast covers quite a bit of Australian pop culture, which I cant really relate to. Overall, however, its definitely one of my favs! Thanks for your fantastic content Team Shameless💛
