    005 - Terr (Correspondant / Clash Lion)

Full-blooded Brazilian Daniela Caldellas, better known under her Terr-moniker, is Aera's next guest in the Talk To The Artist podcast series powered by Paradise Distribution. The two are no strangers to each other since they collaborated for their Terra EP on Correspondant last year. But already before Terr had taken the electronic music scene's heart by storm. Due to her preference for 60's and 70's sci-fi influences and her music being released on labels like Permanent Vacation or Kompakt, the amazing producer has broken her way through the electronic maze like Pac Man when eating all the dots. In Terr's case, the artist connected the musical dots and co-founded Clash Lion together with Daniel Watts and Shall Ocin for intergalactical sound experiences and journeys. In Talk To The Artist's fifth episode Terr speaks about the initially mentioned work with Aera, the way she writes melodies and texts as well as she proceeds in the studio, additionally she openly speaks about her time when traveling with Digitaria through the South American content at a time when female DJs were the exception and more.

Quite some months and a pandemic later it's become clear that Michael has cultivated Innellea's role and influence within the scene and amongst artists, Still those past couple of months also showed that life does not always go into one direction, and in Innellea's case that was 'up' – but life held some difficult situations for the Innervisions artist. 003 - Coloray (Tunnelvisions / Intercept)

His music is as colorful as the first ray of the sun refracting in the glass of a window. It's bright enough to bring light into the darkness of a club and overcome a tunnel vision. Raynor de Groot known as one half of Tunnelvisions and lately causing a stir with several releases under his Coloray moniker has been breathing music for as long as he can think but with the year 2019 being a milestone in his career. Besides launching his label Intercept, an imprint he founded with Atomnation and !K7, Raynor released his mini album Real Life Cinema and worked together with Eagles & Butterflies on the track Can't Stop, which was out on Art Imitating Life. This year the producer and vocalist teamed up with Toto Chiavetta for their collaborative EP Everlasting Movement/ Until the End, which also saw Toto's and Coloray's labels Borders of Light respectively Intercept fuse to Interlight for the release. A couple of weeks ago Raynor dropped a two tracker, Romantics, on Permanent Vacation, so far his last and latest piece of work. In the third episode of Talk To The Artist by Aera the versatile Dutch speaks about song writing, collaborations, his label and the difference between his solo work and the Tunnelvisions project.

002 - Sandrino (Frankey & Sandrino / Sum Over Histories)

For Talk To The Artist's episode 002 Aera invited Sandrino, whose star began to rise in mid-2015 with the release of his collaborative work with long-term friend and studio partner Frankey and their common track Acamar. Five years later Sandrino has established himself as a profound artist and selector and has released on the melodic electronic music scene's most relevant and renowned labels, such as Mule Musiq, Cin Cin, Kompakt or Innervisions. Additionally the Berlin-based artist founded the label Sum Over Histories, (re)writing the latter and defining the future of the scene with each release. Always by his side and involved in the most important decisions – Frankey. However, for the next hour of Talk To The Artist Sandrino is on a solo-mission, but - of course - not alone as he chats with TTTA host Aera. The both go deep on astrophysics, Sandrino's ambivalent relationship with track IDs and why the fastest way from one destination to another is not always the best.

    001 - Kristian (Âme / Innervisions)

For the first episode of Talk To The Artist by Aera powered by Paradise Distribution the Berliner welcomes Kristian from Âme in the latter's living room, commonly and widely known as Muting the Noise. It's already been 15 years since Frank and Kristian from Âme and Dixon founded their Innervisions label and started their triumphal procession – 15 years in which obvious qualities have become even more patent, namely Kristian's skills as a curator for the mother label Innervisions and as the man behind Exit Strategy's latest compilation Monodromie – a musical selection dedicated to setting the vibe for a long (club) night. In an all intimate chat at Muting the Noise the in-demand maverick shares insights into his musical mind, how he spends the time without DJing and touring, his role with Frank in the studio, his Drum 'n' Bass trauma and the role of Chateau Flight and I:Cube for Innervisions and generally for his musical mind-set and development and seeing the big picture.
