In this, the first episode of a series of unknown length or until the planet dies (whichever comes first), we talk to Tom Reid, a multi-decade IT engineering veteran and conservationist about why IT has managed to transform the hotel and taxi industries (..and  others)  but has hardly helped at all when it comes to saving the planet (which would be much more laudable right?)....and what we have to do to change that.
