Elite Podcast (But…)

The Watch is indispensable for TV enthusiasts and has generally flawless chemistry, high-brow / low-brow topics, and quick publishing time.

One minor issue: Guests completely ruin the show. Their honesty and fearlessness fades away into sycophantic and safe dialogue (with the one exception of Sam Esmail). The Mr & Mrs Smith finale is a really unfortunate example.

maxtonic ,

Great in-depth takes + funny-entertaining!

Broad input from all over media, pretty much all over the world. Well informed and original takes on all kinds of shows and films. Also I just love listening to them both talk about just anything at all! Cheers from Berlin, Germany

Feelinesound ,

Andy Greenwald is an emperor

Chris Ryan is also cool. Most of the time. The two have great chemistry and the talent to both intellectually engage and be funny at the same time (though they sometimes may go for the latter sometimes a bit too much at the expense of the former). The topics covered tend to be the very best that TV and film currently have to offer; there are some unfortunate excursions into commercial pop music, which sadly tend to focus on the most popular music rather than the best, but luckily these rarely take more than 10-20% of the pod..
