Rewiring your brain to create new beliefs and live the life you want on your terms.

If you know me, you know I’ve always said that being an entrepreneur is 80% about your mindset. The webinars, list building, and funnels can all be taught, but getting your head in the right space is what will truly set you apart as a business owner!

But did you know that as female entrepreneurs, we are actually socially programmed to have more anxiety, more stress, and more self-doubt? This makes it so incredibly challenging to embody that bold and unapologetic mindset. Lucky for you, my guest today is here to help you create brand new beliefs and lead you directly to the life you've always wanted!

In this episode, I sit down with the fabulous Kara Loewentheil, a former lawyer turned master life coach, who literally spends her days helping women rewire their brains for success. Yes, you read that right! Today, we're talking all about hacking your mindset using cognitive change strategies to unlearn those frustrating societal expectations.

Over my 15 years of entrepreneurship, I've changed my mindset around lots of things, like money, my worth, and taking up space. But, even millions of dollars later, I still have a lot to learn. And I'm telling you – I learned so much from this chat with Kara, and I know you will, too!

    Today, we discuss:

5:35: What it actually means to be a feminist and how Kara teaches women to liberate themselves and achieve their dream life on their terms

12:19: Tips for releasing the daily societal pressures put on you as a woman

17:54: Why women are socialized to prioritize others' needs over their own (and how this can manifest in motherhood!)

23:03: Being bold with your money as a female entrepreneur

29:49: How to reprogram your brain to stop negative self-talk and build new beliefs

33:40: Advice for overcoming the societal conditioning that leads to guilt, anxiety, and stress in women

37:40: Changing your perspective on time management to be more present in daily life

43:37: The steps women should take to run their businesses boldly, confidently, and courageously

Amy, omg... Thank you!

I have honestly been blown away by your podcast. It hits home on everything from answering exactly what I was looking for as the next, practical step in my business, to giving me the audacity to belive in myself and believe the fact that I’m meant to play big. The episodes where you talk about our inner critic, insecurities and fear of failing as things holding us back is so incredibly spot on, and hearing the encouragement from you and understanding that you were there too, makes it easier to just accept the fear, let go, and truly go all in.

I’ve been on Forbes’ 30under30 list, on a TEDx stage, and given keynotes at large C-suite conferences alongside people such as Simon Sinek, I started and ran a tech company as the founder and CEO from age 19, managed 45 people at 23, and yet STILL... now find myself questioning if I even know what I’m doing in my new business where I want to help female founders raise investor capital for their venture through courses, affiliate partnerships and webinars, to even out the current stat of only 2% of capital going to female-led companies. I realized that it was easy before because I was the person behind the company, and now I have to go all out and put myself out there, everywhere 😳

I binged your show, just put up my home content studio, and put together the “going all in” plan, and will be showing up big and consistently from this coming week. Thank you Amy! 🙏🏼

PS: Would love to work with you directly, and be a case study where I follow your step-by-step guides for 3 months and document the entire thing as part of all the content we’ll be putting out?
You can find me on @camillahessellund on Instagram if that sounds like a fun project to you 💃🏼
