When was the last time you watched a RomCom? If you are anything like Suzanne and Nikole, you grew up on a steady stream of romantic comedies. Whether it was the girl didn't realize she was pretty until she had a makeover, subtle references to SA, stalker tendencies framed as romantic, blatant racism, significant misogyny, or a whole host of other issues – RomComs did not age well. 
 
On today's episode, the Wild Women dive into destroying some of their adolescence by acknowledging how creepy and fucked many of the tropes used in almost all RomComs really were and how fast they would get people cancelled. Becky is a talented multi-hyphenate performer. Becky takes us through her origin story from being a military brat in Germany when the wall came down to working with the art of Vaudeville as a means of ancestral connection and healing.
Not only does Becky perform in the comedy, Vaudeville, and burlesque, but she is also a sex worker. Becky tells us that if you’re not getting healing from your work then you need to move out of that space. And that is exactly what her work does for her.
