Jubilant Beast: exploring life well-lived from the inside out.✨&💚 I aim to dig into multiple dimensions of the human experience by asking questions, offering insights, and inviting various perspectives for consideration & contemplation. I’m just a chick, standing in front of the Universe, asking it to dance with her. *smile & high five*

Ep. 10 -- Surfing is about riding the wave . . . not reaching the sand
What's the point of surfing? To get back to the sand? To play it safe? To avoid the waves? Or is the point of surfing -- to riiiiide the wave...
What's the point of life? To reach the final destination? To play it safe? To avoid the desire-and-clarity-enhancing contrast? Or is the point of life -- to liiiiiive that life...

Ep. 9 -- You can't be guided if you have no way of recognizing the guidance
You can't receive the message if you don't understand the language.
You can't receive the call if you unplug (or turn off) your phone.
You can't receive the solution if you remain focused on the problem.

Ep. 8 -- You cannot find what you have declared to be lost
Perhaps the time has come to let go of what we don't want in order to have open hands to reach for the things we actually DO want. Perhaps the time has come for you to release your grasp on the limitations in favor of the possibilities. Perhaps the time has come to change your inner dial to hear the radio station you actually WANT to be listening to. . . . perhaps.

Ep. 7 -- Creating resolutions that flow from the inside out
WHAT if . . . we allowed our resolutions to be a true source of inspiration, rather than a twisted form of punishment?
WHAT if . . . rather than picking resolutions from a place of unworthiness, we created them from a place of love & support?
WHAT if . . . we allowed our resolutions to flow from the inside out, rather than trying (yet again!) to force them the other way around?

Ep. 6 -- You cannot give what you don't first have
No matter how intense my desire to do so is, or how pure and good-hearted my intentions are -- if I don't have something myself first, how can I fake myself out into believing that I somehow have it to give to others?
How can I truly love others if I'm always judging myself? How can I truly have compassion for others if I refuse to give any to myself? How can I truly support others and believe in their possibilities when I continue to be my own worst enemy?

Ep. 5 -- Is your comfort zone ACTually comfortable?
There's the temporary discomfort of growth, and the chronic discomfort of containment . . . When did we become so comfortable with avoiding the first and embodying the second? And how do we rationalize continuing to make that same choice on repeat?
