Discussing Gender Violence Ain’t Easy For These Dads
Violence against women is at an all time high in this country. The number of women being killed by men has increased sharply this year. As fathers of young children, it’s very hard to make sense of. You can’t help but think of what you can do to effect a better outcome
Pauly and I get into it and attempt to unpack our feelings on the matter. Sharing discussions like this isn’t so easy for us, as it’s clearly not a field we’re qualified to talk on. But our view is that should be no reason NOT to share it. Hopefully this helps some other people to open up the conversation and look deeper.
Note – we do have an expert on this matter joining us for next weeks episode. Please make sure to catch that

‘I Didn’t Like What I Was Seeing Around Young People’ – Lifechanger
Scott Watters is an ex-AFL footballer and coach, and the founder of Lifechanger Foundation. Scott saw the need for stronger, more empowered kids, and this is where the foundation was born. We formed a connection through Esther from Jungle Cabarita Beach, where Esther and Scott have been running specialized kids programs together.
Scott’s been able to draw on his professional sports background, fatherhood, and the positive role models he’s had, to create something powerful that’s reaching far beyond just Australia.

What The Film Industry Taught Us About Running Gyms
We were lighting dudes before we were gym guys. Paul, Teora and myself spent over a decade each working on films, TV shows and commercials all around the world. And we learned a lot during that time
In this episode we explore some of the key skills we gained during those years working on productions, such as: navigating team dynamics, making yourself useful, reading the next play, and being action-oriented
