BONUS EPISODE - Boundaries in Business
Special bonus episode for you this week!
Kassie and Rose answer a question from Luna about starting a cake business, how to set boundaries with customers, and how to justify your pricing.
To have a transparent conversation around this topic, the girls bring in a cake business expert, Alexys Calhoun, owner of Cakes by Alexys, a successful LA based vintage cake micro-cakery. Alexys not nonly breaks down what she considers when pricing her cakes, but also explains how setting boundaries with customers and with herself helps keep her business running smoothly. Rose emphasizes the importance of an abundance mentality at all times when running a business, while Kassie addresses when it's time to consider raising your prices.

Catalina Flores & Pastry Art
This week, Kassie and Rose are joined by Catalina Flores, the brilliant creative behind Panhead LA, creating drool-worthy grazing tables and dessert spreads that are part pastry and part art.
Cat talks about how she has translated her passion for creating art into her pastry table-scape world. She shocks Rose and Kassie with the power and beauty of telling people 'No' and explains the importance of prioritizing caring for your whole self.
The girls do take a moment to address the one thing that their most problematic bosses in kitchens have all had in common....but most importantly share the joy of creating an inclusive community both in and out of the kitchen. (sometimes you really need to get outside and touch grass)
Make sure to follow Panhead on IG to keep up with the show-stopping pastry installations that Catalina is creating.
