Announcement (6/3/21): Hiatus
Hey guys!
I will be starting residency in two weeks, so I just want to relax a bit, play video games, hang out with friends and family, and basically just enjoy the free time as best as I can before the next leg of my training.
I love doing this podcast, but unfortunately it is a very involved process since I do everything from the research to editing. But I don’t plan on leaving you guys completely dry though! I’m thinking of being more involved with my blog, where I could talk about more personal stuff like life as a resident, tips and tricks, that sort of thing. That blog is part of my website, so check there or the facebook page to get updates.
I hope to be back in a year when I finish intern year and actually start anesthesia. In the meantime, I recommend checking out the resources page of the website for further resources (especially the recommended books post).
I would love to hear from you! Connect via the facebook page, email, or the contact form on the website. I don’t hear from you often, but when I do it makes my day! Also, if you enjoy this podcast, please share with anyone else you think it could be beneficial! I don’t get sponsorships or anything, so it’s mainly just good for my ego haha.
It’s been fun starting this podcast, especially in such a weird year as 2020, but I’m glad I had the opportunity to not only do it, but also to have the opportunity to share the things I learned with you. Even if only one of you got something out of this, I feel like I did my job.
Best of luck to you all, you will all be fantastic anesthesiologists and anesthetists, and I look forward to calling you my colleagues someday.
This is Scott the Anesthesia Resident, bye for now, and I look forward to seeing you in the next episode!
