Amazing Spider-Talk: A Spider-Man Podcast

Perfect mix of a light, fun dynamic between the two presenters, Dan Gvozden and Mark Ginocchio, (and this is maintained when occasional guest presenter Alan Scherstuhl fills in) with incisive discussion delving into Spider-Man comics past and present. They also have brilliant interviews with creators like Gerry Conway, Tom DeFalco, and Ron Frenz. None of my friends are ASM readers so I don’t get to talk about the latest issue with anyone, but that’s OK because I found Dan and Mark and their community of listeners instead. Thanks so much for the show, guys! It’s the only Spider-Man podcast for me. Long may you run.

Just this podcast it’s too good even though I haven’t watched it for a day quite a bit. I’ve already watched it and not watched it listens to it. It’s really good and I’d recommend more people to start listening to the podcast and watching the videos

Sure there are others but nothing out there beats this! Honestly, it’s informative, the interviews are brilliant, and in general it’s often a beautiful time capsule for all the eras! The co-hosts are everything you want without being too much of it or trying too hard. Very natural and fun and loveable. I cannot recommend this enough! I never ever write reviews but I felt this show really deserves it. I recommend starting on Season 1 Episode 1 (5/July/2017) and then working your way back through, as all the episodes are brilliant. I don’t care whether the annuals count or not but I hope Mark and Dan never stop debating about it! They will certainly bend your ears with reckless self-abandon!

I’ve been listening to the Amazing Spider-Talk for years now and I’m embarrassed that it has taken me this long to leave a review. Make no mistake, there is no finer place on the worldwide web for fans of the Friendly Neighbourhood Wallcrawler. Dan and Mark’s knowledge and passion for all things Spidey shine through in each and every episode. I love how they take an informed and historical look at the character’s highs and lows but still inject the show with their own unique humour and personalities. With recurring guests like Swarm, Flash Thompson, and Lonesome Pincus, who knows what will happen next on the Amazing Spider-Talk? There’s never been a better time to tune in and find out. ‘Nuff said!
