S4 E11: Jax Jones: Abandoned as a baby to generating 10 billion streams
Timucin Lam, known professionally as Jax Jones, is a DJ, record producer and remixer. He rose to prominence in 2014 by featuring on Duke Dumont's number-one single "I Got U". Jax Jones is a trailblazer in the music industry - he has 8 UK Top 10 singles, 8 UK platinum singles, over 60 million single sales and a staggering 10 billion global audio streams. He’s also been honoured with multiple Grammy, Brti and Ivor Novello nominations and has worked with legends like Whitney Houston, Ed Sheeran, Diana Ross, RAYE and Mark Ronson. Christine mcguinnes
Loved this episode. Love this podcast!!! This is the second podcast lately I’ve heard with Christine and what a lovely, kind eloquent lady she seems. Such a genuine person, and her story is so interesting… a great listen. Thanks
Two things:
Giving this a 5* but I’d like to hear two things from people when they talk about sobriety:
Spencer can you drill down into what their morning and evening routines are. I think for people struggling with alcohol addiction the night time routine is super important. What do people replace their time with, are they reading, meditating, learning a new skill, or just watching Netflix.
I’d love to know what people do on evenings after quitting the drink. How do they find this new life balance.
Peace ✌🏽
S4 is 👌🏼
The main episode I’ve always found to be so interesting and inspiring. Spencer is brilliant at interviewing and building rapport with his guests. I was never a fan of Big Fish & Chip so used to skip these bonus episodes. However I love the chats Spencer is having with his trainer Shaun in these new bonus episodes. Shaun comes across so knowledgeable and the relationship feels much better between them both than the one between Spencer and Chip. The topics they’re covering are all ones I’ve been interested to know more about so have been a great listen.
