Mixed feelings

Lighthearted and varied but occasionally frustrating and repetitive. Often a case of Jamie and Francis talking over the guest or speaking about their own stories. A lot of repetition of Jamie’s experiences ( eg I was very good at sport mentioned four times within one podcast). Particularly when it comes to mental health it feels more like prying about the guests experiences and then overriding this with immediately talking about Jamie’s own mental health instead. Whilst it’s important to relate to something someone’s talking about, you shouldn’t do so in a way that diminishes their experiences or attempts to fully comprehend them. Having said that generally enjoyable to listen to and like the variety of guests, just if you’re going to have someone on it should be about them not a chance to ramble on about yourself.
