Calm Big ADHD Emotions 😌 Heart Lock In Technique

Calm Big ADHD Emotions 😌 Heart Lock In Technique

In this podcast I share a quick and transformative technique that I've learned called the Heart Lock-In Technique. This method is incredibly beneficial, especially for those of us dealing with ADHD. It's all about self-regulation, maintaining calmness, and staying present. The beauty of it is that the more self-regulated we are, the less our ADHD symptoms disrupt our daily activities, allowing us to lead lives with more ease.

Throughout the video, I guide you through this method, starting with identifying your current emotional state and then focusing on a regenerative emotion that you'd like to feel. With slow, deep breaths and a focus on your heart center, you can radiate this positive emotion not only to yourself but also to your surroundings.

This Heart Lock-In Technique is perfect to use at any time of the day, whether it's before starting work, coming home to your family, or just anytime you want to be your best self. The practice of this technique can significantly improve your mood, making your ADHD symptoms more manageable.

Tune in to learn about this technique for ADHD emotional regulation and how you can implement it in your life.

Really helped me redirect my negative/spiralling morning

I found an episode when looking for a podcast to have on while trying to get back to sleep. Hoping that when I woke up someone how the positive message or advice would subconsciously sink in and I’d be up in a better frame of mind. ( I’d been having a can’t get out of bed, can’t face the day morning, due to personal stuff and not much sleep) I wasn’t giving it much hope but I was so down I’d try anything.
Im so glad I did not only did I not go to sleep but after a while of listening I opened my eyes and sat up in bed. Another minute later I grabbed my note book from my bedside and started jotting down notes. Everything she said was so relatable. Gave me some hope on a morning when I knew I was spiralling down. Iv signed up to listen to more. Thank you Caren so much I hope you see this and know that episode 10/march/2023 really helped. This is the first podcast I have listened to in 4 years. So glad I did.

Time

The first episode I tried wasted my time. It was about ADHD and exercise. The pre-amble was longer than the actual subject matter on episode. And then the take home from the episode was “exercise is good”. But I already know that and I didn’t get any additional insight from the episode.
