The Break represents the gap between what you see as an ideal lifestyle and how you build a plan to actually get there. For me, Patricia Bright, this began in 2009 when I was creating beauty and fashion content for YouTube alongside being a student and working at an investment bank. After seven years I hit one million subscribers and learned a lot of financial lessons the hard way en route. So, in 2018 I founded my first company, The Break.

I founded this network for women like me, to demystify the journey to personal success and provide access to the tools and education needed to improve financial literacy and bridge the gap to our ideal lifestyles. Now, in 2023, The Break community is 500k+ strong. I was able to navigate the world of personal finance as a fashion-lover, parent and content creator because of open and honest conversations with my own network of family, friends and mentors.

This podcast is an open door to those conversations I’ve been having, so you can learn from the people that I look up to. In each episode expect to hear well-known voices delivering never heard before insights on success AND failure, as well as a level of honesty about personal development that you won’t get elsewhere. The Break will support you in learning, growing, navigating life like a boss, and making money move in the process.

Please subscribe, rate and review and if you like what you hear tell a friend to tell a friend. Watch the full video version on The Break YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/@The_Break and follow us on socials: https://www.instagram.com/thebreaksocial/

Completely Hypnotised

I’ve come across a YouTube video of Patricia’s as I was looking for ideas to make money. It was “7 Side Hustles for 2021” and I got hooked. You could say that I’m now obsessed with Patricia and her “The Break Platform” and “Caught off Guard” podcast and her personality in her videos and chats. I literally spend most of my time listening to her.
I’m on pretty low salary myself yet decided to save up for a property and I’m all about budgeting and all that money management, where a year ago I was utterly rubbish at it and living from month to month.
I was wondering if you could interview a successful person that did not have a degree, started a little later with their passion or business, didn’t have “connections” and how did they do it? I am 31 and feel like I need an inspiration because I believe I am on this earth to do something big and meaningful but I had a very long “nap” and kind of wasted my 20s but I know it is not too late to change life, career or my income situation ;). Lots of love xx

Same old

Have listened to a couple of episodes because I find Patricia a really inspiring figure - but it’s just a bit dull. Subject matter/guests are usual podcast fodder .
