Daily Prayer (BCP 1662)
Daily prayer according to the Church of England Prayerbook. The lectionary used passes through the whole Bible each year (without any ommissions), including the New Testament twice. The Psalms are as per the book of 1662 but are currently drawn from the ESV (as are the other Daily Bible Readings). The Litany follows on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The readings are not replaced with seasonal propers.

This podcast has led my holy hour every morning and many evenings for a long time. It is my comfort and joy. With gentle voices it leads me sensibly through reading my Bible; Psalm, Old and New Testaments and leads me in the traditional prayers of the liturgy. It leaves me ready to either launch into a busy day or retreat into further contemplation. If you are searching for a structure to your prayer life at home which compliments your Christian journey within the church, you will not find better than this. Thank you.
Ambitious but falls down.

I was excited to find this podcast but I found it lets itself down. - The second set of responses prays “o Lord, save our rulers” instead of “save the King”. - the prayers for the King and the Royal Family are omitted. - the introductions to the readings are pre recorded and stitched which gets quite clumsy.
