If you could find the answer to one question, any question, what would it be? How might your life turn on the answer? For atheist Cory Markum, life began to turn as he looked up at the sky in prayer after the death of a friend and realized he was trying to pray to a God he no longer believed in. For Drew Sokol, former pastor at Redeemer-NYC, life began to turn as he stood preaching about Jesus to thousands of people and yet found himself questioning the very words he was saying. Those turns also brought them to one another, for a shared journey exploring one of the most polarizing questions in history: Who was Jesus Christ?

Well Made Podcast

A well made, balanced podcast that makes me think. I don't know why some people are saying it's more in favour of Christianity, because from point of view it's not.

I really hope they tackle the subject of choice

Really loving this podcast, I've just listened to episode #4 dealing with watertight arguments. Towards the end (32:20), Cory makes the statement (relating to a sufficiently crushing proof of the existence of God) "you wouldn't have a choice at that point". For me that's a great opportunity to go deeper; in the wise words of my wife, faith is "all about making a choice". You can be captivated and walk the walk, or you can respond with a thanks-but-no-thanks until such a time as the pieces fall into place for you. The Bible in many ways tells this same story over and over again; characters being in the presence of the divine, invariably walking the other way, but the route back being a free choice that's always open... Keep up the good work Drew & Cory!
