Hilarious, fascinating content for the family

The kids love listening to HHE in the car; it passes the time so well on long journeys and everyone is in such a good mood after laughing all the way. We’ve learned so much about different places and periods in time, though it doesn’t feel like learning.

It’s also a great podcast to listen to whilst walking or doing DIY, but I then let slip facts I’ve picked up and get told off by the whole family for listening to the podcast without them. There is something for everyone! Pete and Ryan bounce off one another with ease and it’s a joy listening to Paul giving them a hard time in The Verdict!

This podcast healed my sight

I recently started listening to podcasts more often after getting laser eye surgery and being told to look at screens less while I recover. History Happened Everywhere has since provided me with great entertainment and soothed my eyes back to health, making it effortless to phase screens out of my free time. The show is a mix of insightful histories with obscure themes, fascinating facts and humorous comedy sketches thrown in, in a chaotic manner that sounds like it shouldn't make a coherent show but somehow blends together seamlessly. I particularly appreciate the incredible breadth of topics and am amazed by the detailed research that goes into each episode. Congratulations on this wonderful podcast!

Absolutely wonderful podcast

I love this podcast. It’s a great concept, well executed and with terrifically warm, funny, accessible and inquisitive hosts. You will come for Pete and Ryan, but you will definitely stay for the erudite Paul! Highly recommended if you want to laugh and learn something. Bravo!
