My favourite podcast - funny, inspiring and illuminating
27/06/2021
This podcast really grew on me to become my absolute favourite. The hosts make a brilliant team, making complex science truly accessible and keeping things really human. I’ve learned so much from it, especially about how climate activism intersects with so many other struggles. Favourite episodes have been the ones about Black Lives Matter (eye opening), renewable farming (inspiring and hopeful) and the undercover recycling of refrigerants (hilarious and niche). I’m so glad this show exists and also uplifts and highlights other podcasts doing great things.
Eye opening podcast

What a wonderful and imaginative podcast. It takes listeners around the world, inspires us with stories of ground breaking conservation efforts, each of which highlife the fragility of the natural world and how with our help it can thrive. It motivates us to get involved by sponsorship, telling others about the stories or making ourselves care more than we do about the magnificence of the species with whom we share the planet. The people who lead these conservation efforts are dedicated, hard working heroes who sacrifice so much on our behalf. They are all truly inspiring individuals who should receive all our support and thanks. Thank you to the producers of the podcast for lifting me out of my everyday life and taking me to places I know I will never go. Thank you for the information you provide and thank you for finding such incredible stories to describe.

One of my favourite podcasts. As usual high quality from Gimlet, but also sooo good interviews and story-telling about the many climate solutions already out there or being explored. This is my weekly dose of hope. Get on board, people! ;)
