The power of having non negotiables
When I feel like saying no!
A non-negotiable is a commitment to yourself that you will not break.
You may have only one or we may have a few.
Here are some questions that we will explore:
- What values and principles are guiding your choices?
- What results do you see by sticking to them?
- Are they part of your daily actions?
- When you follow through on your non-negotiables, what does that tell you about yourself?
What would you respond?
How to answer 'what makes you unique at an interview'?
Imagine being in an online interview and being asked by the CEO "what makes you unique?"
- How would you respond?
- What examples would you use to back up your statement?
Lisa Barrow, CEO of Kada Recruiting has a possible answer "A good tip in answering this question is to start with this sentence opener. 'I was the only one who.' Or I was the first to. And fill in the blank with what you've accomplished that many others in the same situation didn't or took longer to do.

Every time I listen to an episode it generates new thoughts and reflections for me. Nadine has a great way of leading the conversation so that they are interesting, informative and contain really useful bits that, as a listener, I can consider where they might make an impact in my leadership.
