Jess interviews Syrian chef and Human Rights Activist Majeda. Majeda was imprisoned by the Syrian government for helping to feed people whose homes had been bombed in the war. She managed to escape Syria and now uses food to continue her activism in exile. She is now running a Syrian catering business called The Syrian Sunflower 💜

Hadi is known for his incredible story-telling skills; exploring many hot topics from Afghan cooking to Taliban policies and identity politics.  

Exactly 12 years ago on the 11th May, Ahmed was shot in Lebanon and paralysed from the waist down and now has to use a wheelchair. He explains that you learn about who you really are when you lose everything. Expect to leave his interview feeling inspired!
