Conversations with modern workers about freelancing, the reality of self-employment, the highs, lows and bits in-between of working for yourself.
We ask a simple question each week: "How are you?" and explore the answer.
You'll not be hearing from billion dollar entrepreneurs, there's no 'crushing it' stories of success here, just honest, raw and open accounts of what it's really like - in the hope that anyone who wants to work differently, can gather insights from the experience of others.
Hosted by Matthew Knight, founder of Leapers - a community supporting the mental health of freelancers.
In conversation with Suchandrika Chakrabarti, a London-based journalist, trainer, and host of Freelance Pod - about keeping ahead of new technologies, socially distancing strippers, and camaraderie between freelancers.
Talking to Andy Swann, author of "The Human Workplace", host of The Lifework podcast, and founder of "My Amazing Team" on how to maintain positive relationships under challenging circumstances, moving from optimist to cynic, why technology isn't the answer, but hand-delivering cake and beer might be.
We catch up with Sabrina Bramble - Pilates instructor, Writer, Host of My Staff Room, Drummer, LIfe Drawer, Swing Dancer... and ask, how are you?
In conversation with Pip Rowson, on her first day of full-time freelancing.

Enlightening truthful stuff
Honest and engaging conversations. And a fantastic aural representation of the brilliant Leapers community.
I found the podcast after following Leapers on Twitter and I’m glad I’ve had a listen.
Working alone or running your business remotely is lonely and it’s hard work. It’s not always easy to jump on the phone or crack on with work when you’re suffering from depression or going through a bad time. Hearing from others is reassuring knowing that I’m not alone and there are no end of others in similar situations.
This is like a free therapy session. Thank you Matthew, keep up the good work.
Great support for freelancers
Lovely listening to these pods. Great support if you have gone out on your own and shows how your experiences and thoughts are not strange or indeed unique.
Some great little nuggets and ideas about how to deal with stress and that it’s ok to share.
