Host needs to calm down!
As a frequent listener of many boxing podcasts, I have listened to OTG several times. While some of the panelists have decent opinions, the host makes the show a bitter row. Listened last night to him berating and arguing with others was pathetic. He proceeded to goading others to point out when he was wrong about a fight in the last 7 years? When they did he bizarrely seemed to devote 5 minutes, talking about how he never gets it wrong. WHO CARES? Keep the focus on the boxing, not how amazing you are at predictions. Would recommend Tha boxing voice or The boxing coalition to people who like the debates but don’t want to hear over the top egotistical arguments. Also shout out to OTG Heavyweights boxing podcasts, the spin off completely trumps the original and doesn’t have the same mud slinging.
Goodbye - OTG
Awful boxing podcast with bitter and just terrible panelists such as 'Irish' Paddy, Nino, Willa ... none of who had a clue about boxing. I'm glad they listened and finally called it a day.
The Truth
Listened about five times now. The presenter needs to get a grip ... He's not a boxing presenter. He's like Jerry Springer for boxing - a shock jock. There are a lot better boxing podcasts out there ... One of his callers on the show actually rang up and spoke about Tupperware rather than talking about boxing with him. Dreadful ... I wish I could give less than 1 star!
Tried the Heavyweight show as well ... Why does Irish Paddy just keep laughing at his own jokes. He is really off putting and a spoofer. He makes one good prediction, one ... Frampton to beat Santa Cruz and he think's he's the best judge ever! Everyone in Europe who knew Frampton thought he would win. As for Nino ... Can you put some excitement in your voice ..... You sound like a robot. Willo and RC are clueless. Your shows need a complete revamp and get rid of the bitter - deluded fan boys.
