Knockout of a pod

Love these two, it’s like being down the pub with mates , discussing the great sport of boxing. And of course ball advice, the house DOES look bigger when you trim the shrubs. Dom ( domgtoon)

This podcast has completely capitulated over the last year, pure garbage now….. I’ve listened from day one but am now moving on. No consistency, constant contractions and biased opinions, pointless stories from spencer are draining and sometimes cringe, it’s clear to see by the level of guests (or complete lack of) The number one podcast this is not lol, fight disciples is absolutely miles ahead of these two, I haven’t listened to full episode out of the last 5 it’s got that bad Be warned
Jake wood and Spencer oliver the duo I never knew I needed🤣🤣

Been listening to this show for about 2 years, i am a huge boxing fan and I listen to multiple podcasts and YouTube channels BUT majority of them have the same stale presenters that just don’t have enough about them to keep you glued to the show for more than 20 minutes. Jake and Spencer are class, there banter and personalities make this more than a boxing podcast. The weekly guests are always brilliant and to be honest I enjoy the fact that both presenters don’t think twice about keeping it real and asking questions and sharing opinions and thoughts regarding situations when most presenters or experts sit on the fence or avoid certain hot topics. My highlight of this show has to be Spencer’s dodgy Humpty Dumpty joke on the Ebanie bridges pod, can’t remember laughing so much at a terrible joke! If you love boxing, enjoy humour and a bit of banter then this is the show for you! Love listening to it and can never get bored as the content is always fresh and sometimes I’m sure they just make it up as they go🤣🤣 Brilliant pod everybody who loves boxing should give it a go👍🏻👍🏻 Instagram - Mike_Johnson_1995.

This is one of my favourites to listen to, I have listen to every episode there is and listen to some twice for the Guest story’s etc, met spence the other day at Bournemouth show and showed him in a regular and he’s a class bloke too, looking forward to this weeks already!! PS get Phill the farmer back on it Harryaj97
Great podcast

I’ve only found this podcast lately but it is great. Very good interviews with people from across boxing. Also lots of the interviews are interesting for peoples life stories, you don’t need to be boxing’s biggest fan to enjoy the interviews
Completely lost it

Listened to this show from day 1. Now I’m done. Unnecessary swearing, answering own questions & contradictions week to week. The second hand embarrassment when we’re constantly told how it’s the best boxing podcast in the world. It’s not. Steve Bunce, Boxing News & Fight Disciples are far superior. The straw that broke the camels back for me, was this week Natasha Jonas telling a story of how she was the first female to box for team GB at the olympics, to be rudely interrupted by Spencer telling a worthless story of how he boxed in Liverpool for the first time. If I was Natasha, I would have felt undermined, which is something that I feel guests think every week. I wouldn’t normally write reviews, but working in the industry myself I feel it’s important to let listeners know. This has become more of a vanity project rather than content based and has spiralled into a mess. Interview technique is completely ignored or none existent. Basics aren’t even there, so I couldn’t be more out. Needs a serious rethink. Good luck to listeners

Well done boys. That interview with Sam was such an eye opener. He is an old school , tough fighting man. The images you see of him after his fights always depict him as a face first fighter but as he said in your interview, that’s his style of choice. Great family man and a proper decent bloke. Will follow him closer now, a new fan👌Cheers Mark

I have to congratulate both Jake and Spencer for managing to deliver this amazing podcast during the last year. They have continued to deliver not just a podcast but a sense of escapism from these difficult times! Great job, great guests and by far the best boxing podcast, I applaud you! And I would like to thank spence for signing my ticket at the Joshua fight once we managed to get a pen! Top man!
