This week I was interviewed on Radio Gorgeous, the UK’s longest running women led podcast. My early career was as a radio and TV reporter and out of all the interviews I’ve done, this one was my favourite (except I was the one answering the questions, instead of asking them). Please give Josephine Pembroke a TV Show! She is clever, funny, naughty and kind. It made for an insightful interview as we talked about orgasm, self-discovery, movement as medicine and more.” Betsy Blankenbaker Autobiography of an Orgasm

Women on Nature, edited by Katherine Norbury author of The Fish Ladder
Acclaimed author Katharine Norbury tells us why it’s time to have a book about nature written solely by women. Naturalists in the past have painstakingly recorded nature naming plants, trees and animals and controlling the environment. It’s time for us to take a more spiritual approach as we face an ecological crisis, it’s time to admit that we are nature. #Anthology #RadioGorgeous #Nature Women in Nature, An anthology of women's writing about the east Atlantic Archipelago is published by UNBOUND https://unbound.com/books/women-on-nature/
Donna Freed with Jennifer Saint, author of Ariadne
Ariadne and her sister Phaedra were pivotal footnotes in the heroic stories of men with the exception of the letters Ovid wrote in their name. It was these passionate but powerless voices that sparked Jennifer Saint's debut novel Ariadne. Ariadne is a vibrant retelling and imagining of their stories as well as a story of sisters, growing up in the shadow of their brother, the Minotaur - himself born of their father's terrible pride and their mother's maddened shame. This is a beautiful exploration of a glittering world created and inhabited by gods who have all the attributes of man but none of the consequences, and how two young women, princesses of Crete, granddaughters of the sun god Helios, navigate in their wake. @Bookywookydooda @jennysaint www.jennifersaint.com @Radio_Gorgeous

Professor Baum interview
This interview with Professor Baum has honestly changed my life. I am 45. My mother developed oestrogen sensitive breast cancer aged 44 and had it recurrently, developing a different oestrogen sensitive breast cancer aged 54 which killed her. I have lived in fear of suffering the same. I am considered moderate risk and take tamoxifen as a preventative. I’m now experiencing peri-menopause and are nervous about my options. This interview has calmed me, reassured me and opened up the reality that I can choose to take HRT should I need to. I can’t thank you enough.
