Season 5, Episode 5 Interview with Mariam Longe, Author of Vultures to the Rescue (Children's Book)

CORPORATE HARD TALK

Welcome to the all-Black Women Season running from the 8th of March to the end of May.

It's been a minute, we are glad to be back with season 5, a little emotional because we have been gone for some time.

This season at CHT we will focus on black women, it is important for us to spin a couple of stories on the head.

Season 5 is all about bringing professional women, specifically black women, it is suggested that black women are behind in the corporate world, what we want to do at Corporate Hard Talk is to speak to women who are doing really well in their careers.

Our vision here is to inspire you one podcast episode at a time! Yes, we are aware that there is limited progression experienced by black women in the labor market. The issue is centered around pay, hours, and representation in top jobs.

In this episode, we sit down with Mariam Longe the Author of  Vultures to the Rescue. Longe is a strong advocate of environmental conservation and sustainability. Based in Lagos Nigeria, she wears many hats, our virtual sit down was a lengthy one!  When not writing/promoting VTTR Mariam runs a healthy lifestyle brand where she supports women to live healthy lives. Also a co-host of one of the popular morning shows (Your View on TVC).

Mariam really wants to get young people involved in the conversations on conservation, to learn more about the book Vultures to the Rescue  visit Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Vultures-Rescue-Cleanup-Mariam-Longe/dp/B09P25L86P #SaveVulture

Thank you, Mariam, we love and appreciate your work, you embody the modern African women we used to dream about.
