Stop trying to game the algorithm, do this instead
At a recent conference people explained to me how they make slight tweaks to their Pinterest images with the goal of making it “fresh”. Switching the font, moving the image, changing up a line. I gave them the advice I’m sharing in this episode instead. Stop playing the algorithm and really serve the pinner who want to connect with your content. Then you’ll end up serving both.

Practical, strategic, and understands small business
I've been listening to this podcast since nearly the beginning. I love how knowledgeable the host Kate is about Pinterest but she never makes you feel like an idiot for not understanding anything. She is honest when she isn't sure whether a change at Pinterest is helpful, gives you the information you need to decide whether to devote time to a specific feature, and gently kicks you into paying attention to your account. I particularly like the fact that the advice is never about just gimmicks and tactics, but always about building a gradually growing audience that will actually help your business in the long term. I'm about to put a lot of work into my own business's account and will be using lots of the advice from this podcast, and the useful pdfs and blog posts on the website, to move everything forward strategically rather than the haphazard way I might have done it otherwise. Advice much appreciated!
One of the best podcast about Pinterest out there!
This podcast from Simple Pin Media is just great! Full of insights with short and straight to the point episodes. I feel is super interesting to not just have a website with all this information but to also be able to put your headphones on and go for a walk while you listen to Kate and realising that you are actually learning things from Pinterest while listening. Every chapter is filled with useful, up to date and realistic information on what’s happening on Pinterest but also on how you can implement things yourself in your own accounts which is so, so valuable. The interviews are also extraordinary when you can learn from other’s people experiences, situations and ups & downs with their accounts. A podcast full of ideas and positive energy. All in all, one of the best podcast I’ve listened about Pinterest! Thank you!
Helpful and informative
Really interesting insights into Pinterest marketing. Episodes are often short and snappy, which is great for quickly getting up to speed with some new ideas for using Pinterest.
