Six Inches of Soil - The Podcast

Exploring the uncut, uncorked, unleashed truths behind the work that our soil, livestock, plants, and people are doing to tackle climate change and save our planet whilst creating nutrient-dense food and injecting life back into our rural communities. It’s simpler than you may think, completely traceable, and 100% verified. Join us on our journey and conversation about the healing power of Six Inches of Soil, and tap into the community our film screenings have created. But who is Richard Tufton?! We are delighted to introduce Richard Tufton as the presenter for the Six Inches of Soil Podcast. He has been a supporter of Six Inches of Soil since the start and has helped us navigate some of the tougher topics in food production. Richard has a vast amount of experience in this sector, completing an agricultural degree at Newcastle University and working in the food sector for more than 20 years, initially in the UK, then for the last 9 years in the United States. During this time, he has become more and more determined to do good, growing a passion for regenerative farming and recently joining Gabe Brown’s team at Regenified. We are overjoyed to be working with Richard. As he is based in Austin, Texas, he will bring together guests from both sides of the pond, creating a unique podcast and important conversations that will dig into the full food supply chain, and perhaps challenge things you currently know and believe. Tune in and share your thoughts on all our various topics via instagram @sixinchesofsoil. Can’t wait for you to join us! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Starting at the top of this grain growing job.

You couldn’t get a better hat-full of speakers. Each working at the top level in their fields (sorry!). Great to see Anna develop her knowledge and ambition for her farm and the practices Andrew started. The processors and supply chain are catching up and starting to market the benefits of both our grains and nature we nurture on our farms. Win-win.
