Episode 6 - with Rebecca Myers. Bringing convenience to fitness.

Episode 6 - with Rebecca Myers. Bringing convenience to fitness.

Meet Rebecca Myers: 13 years ex Creative Agency Account Director, 7 years marketing recruitment consultancy owner, 2 years fitness company owner, mother of 2 boys, one of which has some challenging mental disabilities, and wife to a busy TV producer who’s team is spread all over the world. Oh yeah, and they have just finished building their own house from scratch! Some say she is crazy, some say she is super woman, but she thinks she is just a girl with lots of ideas and wants to make the most of the life she has been given!

Work In Your Work Out (or WIYWO for short) was born from a need that was not being fulfilled in the corporate world. Time poor, office based professionals (like Rebecca once was) who want to look after their health but needed something convenient to assist with this. This is what WIYWO does: bringing fitness, health and wellness to the workplace. Even if, at the moment, this is whilst you are working from home.

Episode 2 - with Luke Sutton. Finding Freedom

Episode 2 - with Luke Sutton. Finding Freedom

In this episode I talk to Luke about his time as (what he calls) a journeyman pro cricketer, we discuss his absolute obsession with the need to succeed, leading his team in Derbyshire as their new captain and his battle with extremes working hard to be the best and playing hard with excessive drinking which ultimately landed him in the priory.

Now a business owner and sports agent of Activate Management he talks about his passion to help young stars, not only succeed but works to give them a support platform before they spiral into the same type of experiences he faced.

In November 2019, Luke released his raw and very honest autobiography ‘Back from the Edge’. I high recommend it for anyone finding themselves suffering in silence, you are not alone, there is a way out.

Awesome content delivered in a fun and professional way

Loving the series so far. Serena is an awesome host guiding the conversation and the guests have all been very interesting. I particualrly enjoy how Serena summaries the key outtakes/thoughts at the end of the session and the 'So Driven' theme and music gives you a real boost to take you into your day. The production quality is 5* too.

This podcast is life-changing!

Ok, so that’s a big claim. But after just two shows I’m already a huge fan. I listen to a lot of talks about entrepreneurship and self-improvement and this one stands out a mile. Serena Dodd is fun to listen to, really brings the subject matter to life and speaks with a unique combination of warmth, curiosity, clarity and wisdom. Listening to her is effortless and I’m completely engaged from start to finish. There’s lots of actionable take-out and I’m learning so much that I can immediately apply to my own life. Thank you, Serena!

This series of Podcasts are extremely professionally created and I found the content not only interesting and useful but not too hard core and tough to digest. Definitely worth tuning in to!
