Real Left politics,funny comedy & films a trifecta of cool

Really enjoying this podcast Talal is doing a 5 star job steering the ship. I have been a fan of alexei since childhood, being a scouser he reminded me of my mad uncle tom. one of my favourite ever sketches from the young ones is when he done an impression of Benito Mussolini and sung a ridiculous song called funny noises it would be brilliant if Alexei could reenact the scene on the podcast

It’s so refreshing to hear two warm, funny & principled people talking in an unfiltered & honest way about the state of the world as well as underrated time slip movies. I just wish I’d said hello to Alexei when I saw him eating an egg custard in Stockport Waterstones all those years ago.

Time and again, Alexei Sayle provides a true left-wing compass to guide us through these horrible times. A real people’s treasure. PS Where do you get the music? My friend’s four-year-old loved it when it came on in the car and was upset when it faded and you started talking.

Fantastic podcast for those of us who liked to watch Alexei swear on the TV.

Quality content, excellent commentary on a messed up world

I absolutely adore this podcast, it’s the highlight of my week!! I love listening to it when I’m out walking!! I first discovered Alexei through The Young Ones, and from there I had seen it all. I love his radio 4 shows, I am so so so excited for the new imaginary sandwich bar episodes!! Talal and Alexei are such well spoken individuals, they are entertaining, and very funny. They have the best morals. They are inclusive and compassionate. I love their friendship, they bring me such joy!! My favourite thing Alexei has ever done, (and I hope he remembers this) was his ‘Waiting For Godot’ sketch!! I WAS IN STITCHES, IT WAS BRILLIANT. Keep up the good work lads, lots of love! 💗

Always a pleasure to listen to Alexei and Talal discussing the issues of the day. Always a pleasant dose of sharp wit with opinions you rarely hear on mainstream media.

Big fan of Alexei’s work since 1980s. He and Talal have a show that makes you laugh, makes you cry and makes you want to man the barricades. All power to you guys!
